Early Years

We offer a range of options for the early years from play sessions to Forest Kindergarten and training to help you on your outdoor journey.

Our sessions take place in local green spaces or school grounds where access to a green space is not possible. Sessions are outdoor based, and we aim to go out in all of Scotland’s bonny weather as long as it’s safe to do so.

We do have a limited supply of waterproofs and wellies , if you need us to bring them let us know in advance.

Sessions are practical, hands-on learning that links in with the Curriculum for Excellence crossing multiple subjects.

We can provide further learning experiences that lead on from our session with you so that learning can continue to be developed.

We are now offering Forest Kindergarten training - check out for our latest dates!

Sessions are tailored to your class requirements and the needs of both the teacher and the pupils. We provide a high-quality outdoor learning opportunity for all. Below is a list of our popular topics but please get in touch if you have an idea or if there is something we haven’t listed below – the list is vast for outdoor learning.

We ask that you come dressed for the session/weather and are prepared to get muddy (at times) and have lots of fun with us.

For information on Forest Schools please see our Primary school page.

Times: AM or PM slots are available.
