Autumn Family Day Falkirk

This is an event for all the family to enjoy so please feel free to bring along both younger and older children. Please be sure to mention their ages on the booking form so that we can do our best to plan for suitable activities on the day. There will be lots of autumn themed free-play outdoor activities, crafts and games for you to enjoy.

This session is an entirely outdoor event. Please remember to dress accordingly for the weather with waterproof clothing etc as required. Please note that it can be cool under the shade of the trees so you may wish for an extra layer. We will go ahead as much as possible including in wet / cold weather however if we deem it too dangerous for a session to go ahead, we will contact you on the day so please keep an eye on your emails / text messages.

We recommend long sleeves / trousers as this reduces the risk of bites/scrapes/stings etc. Please remember to check yourselves for ticks after being outdoors. More information about Lyme Disease is available here for your reference: https://www.nhs.uk/conditions/lyme-disease/

Parking is available in the Main Car Park at Muiravonside and disabled parking is available in the courtyard by the coffee cabin. There is a small charge of £2 to park with all proceeds from the parking fee going directly back into the park. Toilets and a café are available in the courtyard near to the play park.

To find us from the main car park, walk over to the entrance to the car park and follow the signs to the “café and Park”. This will take you past the Wishing well on your left and follow the road marked disabled access only. This road leads down to the courtyard where there will be signs clearly marking the path to the site at the opposite end of the café.

This session is FREE to attend thanks to funding from Thrive. Places are limited so if you book spaces and can no longer make it, please let us know so that we can make your spaces available to others. 

NB. Tickets are only required for children, please do not book adult tickets! Please do let us know if any adults attending have any medical or additional support needs that we need to be aware of!

We may sometimes use resources for sensory and play activities that may contain allergens - please ensure that you add any allergies to the booking form. 

Please do not bring your dog to a session without checking with us first.
