About the event

A two hour free workshop where we'll be practising our bird ID skills and learning about the different species that inhabit our woodland. There will be nature activities, crafts and games. We recommend that you download a free birdsong ID app to your phone before the session such as Merlin Bird ID, Picture Bird, Warblr or any other suitable one you find. We will be bringing along binoculars but feel free to bring your own if you have them.

This session will involve walking around the woodland so please wear sturdy footwear.

This session is open to anyone who has an interest, booking is essential.

Please dress for the weather. We would advise covering arms and legs to avoid scratches, stings and insect bites.

Sessions will last two hours but you are free to leave at any time. There are no toilets or refreshment facilities on site although facilities are available at the hospital nearby.

All under 14s must be accompanied by an adult for the duration of the session. If you have any access requirements or would like to know more, please get in touch: tamara@underthetrees.co.uk

The meeting point will be the entrance to Larbert Woods from the Purple Car Park. A map will be sent out before the event.
