About the event

This workshop is open to anyone over 50 who would like to get out for a walk (approx 2 miles taken at your pace) in the woods and get a little closer to nature. Perhaps you're worried about getting lost or maybe you want to meet some new people. Stretching your legs and getting a breath of fresh air offers a world of physical and mental health benefits. So come and join us as we identify some of the local flora and fauna. This workshop is aimed at beginners but if you're an expert you're welcome to come along and share your knowledge and of course if you just feel a bit rusty then why not come along and see what you remember!

We aim to provide hot drinks and biscuits on the session. Please note any allergies or dietary requirements on the booking form.

We will meet outside the Maggies Centre. Please note that you cannot park here.

Getting there:

If travelling by car there is limited parking at Mcallister Avenue, opposite Gretna Mews. Please do not park by Larbert House.

If travelling by bus, there are a number of buses that serve Forth Valley Royal Hospital.

Our starting location is also only 0.9 miles from Larbert Train station.

This session is FREE thanks to funding from Todhill Wind Farm Community Fund. Please look out for our other wild workshops coming up in May, June & July.

If you have any further questions please email judith@underthetrees.co.uk
