About the event
This workshop is open to anyone over 50 who would like to get out in the fresh air and practise their photography skills. Come and join us in Larbert Woods and enjoy snapping some super shots of the local flora and fauna. This workshop is aimed at beginners with no prior knowledge of any photography skills required however even if you do have experience you're welcome to come and join us and share some of your hints and tips with others!Â
So why not come along with your phone or camera and get tips on framing your picture or adjusting your settings to create some marvellous memories? Don't have a suitable camera or phone - no problem - we have digital cameras available for you to borrow.Â
This is an outdoor event so please dress appropriately for the weather.Â
We aim to provide hot drinks and biscuits during the final part of the session after a short walk through the woods. Please note any allergies or dietary requirements on the booking form.
For this workshop we will meet at the gate beside the Maggies Centre at 10am. Please note that you cannot park beside the Maggies Centre.Â
Getting there:
If travelling by car there is limited parking at Mcallister Avenue, opposite Gretna Mews.Â
Please do not park by Larbert House.
If travelling by bus, there are a number of buses that serve Forth Valley Royal Hospital.
Our starting location is also only 0.9 miles from Larbert Train station.
This session is FREE thanks to funding from Todhill Wind Farm Community Fund. Please look out for our other Over 50's wild workshops coming up in April, May & July.
