About the event

NB The session on the 22nd of March will be led by Angela and The Wee Folk of the Woods for a foraging session!

Thanks to funding from Women's Fund Scotland we are pleased to be offering fortnightly Wild Wummin' Woodland Wellbeing Sessions. These sessions will run until March 2024.

Sessions are open to all those identifying as women, aged 16+, from all walks of life! Everyone is very welcome to come along!

Join Jess for one session, or sign up for the full year, enjoying time outdoors, engaging with each other, and connecting with nature. Sessions are designed to be relaxing and activities achievable for all. Sessions are designed with time to listen, time for mindfulness, and taking part in different activities...and there will be cake too!

Activities that we may do:

  • Introduction to Bushcraft (woodwork, fire, cooking, etc)
  • Photography
  • Nature journaling
  • Wellbeing activities
  • Nature studies
  • Arts and crafts

These are outdoor events, happening all year (excluding Christmas and New Year)

NB. The meeting point is now different from the original bookings on Bookwhen!

Directions to find us:

With your back to the toilet block/children's play area/food kiosk, you will see the golf course on the right and the green container on the left.

Between the two there is a path, follow the path and you will see straight after the green box a path to the left.

Follow this down and you will see the UTT van and Jess.

Toilets are available at Callendar House and next to the play area.

NB. I am likely to have my dog Poppy with me, please let me know if you are unsure/allergic to dogs and I will leave her in the van!

I am happy to meet you ahead of the session for a chat and to show you the site to help ease any anxiety about coming along. Email me: or via WhatsApp at 07854 490 550.
