Winter Solstice Celebrations Under 6's Nature Club

The word “solstice” is derived from the Latin words “sol” (sun) and “sistere” (to stand). In other words, “The day the sun stands still.”

Winter solstice is celebrated in many different cultures, intertwined with activities and myths around the theme of the triumph of light over the darkness.

In our last session of the year, we will take part in celebrating the Winter solstice through crafts and activities.

Older siblings are welcome, just pop Jess a message first.

We ask that you do not bring your dog along without checking first. Jess will likely have Poppy in the van!
